The NDIS is scheduled to rollout in Queensland in July 2016. Are you ready?  Have you attended an NDIS Readiness workshop in your area?

If not, it’s not too late. We have free NDIS Readiness workshops in many parts of Queensland including rural and remote areas.  Maybe you have been to an NDIS workshop and found you still have unanswered questions or you are still feeling confused about the process.  Visit our events page and search for a workshop in your area. Stay up to date with the latest information.

We all know it is important to plan for the future. What families are unsure of is how best to do it.
The NDIS requires families to have a PLAN.

We suggest you ask yourself this question.
What does the person I care for require to live a fully inclusive life?

This is where we can help, Parent to Parent Facilitators have been working with families around the planning process for the past 18 years. We can help you be better prepared.

Did you know that in Queensland you can self-direct the funding you receive from the Department of Communities?

Having some control over how the funding is used for support, can create a better life for your loved one.

Parent to Parent is helping in excess of 200 families to do this successfully.

We are running workshops all over Queensland for the following

NDIS Readiness
PATH – Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope
PCT- Person Centred Thinking
OPP- One Page Profile

Check out our Events page to see when there is one running in your area. If you cannot find one in your area, contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Do you have a child with a disability finishing school?

If so ask yourself these questions:

Have we planned for what comes next for our child?
How do we access government agencies and what information do they need?

Visit our publications page to find the answers to these questions and much more.
